- 1. RULES: All decisions made by the TSTTT tournament director of the TSTTT tournament officials will be
final. The TSTTT director can make a change at his discretion or when the safety of anglers is in question.
- 2. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND DRUGS: Anyone consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs (other than prescription)
during tournament hours will be disqualified. If you feel you may have big bass or your fish may
put you in the money, do not consume alcohol or drugs until polygraphs have been determined. N0 alcohol
or drugs allowed in boat during tournament hours.
- 3. SPORTSMANSHIP: All contestants are expected to practice courtesy, safety, and follow local and state
game laws. Anyone displaying poor sportsmanship or violating local state game laws will be disqualified.
- 4. ELIGIBILITY: Any angler that has entered more than one bass tournament requiring an entry fee of more
than $2500.00 in the six month period prior to the Texas Super Team Tournament Trail event being entered
is ineligible.
- 5. BAITS AND TACKLE: Only artificial lures may be used with exception pork rinds and liquid bait attractants.
No live bait. No trolling with the main engine. Only one rod at a time may be used. A cast must be fully
retrieved before another rod is picked up. You may not snag or foul hook bedding fish.
- 6. POLYGRAPH: Each contestant agrees to submit to a polygraph examination by entering this tournament
and must abide by its conclusions. All polygraphs must be passed on site in order to receive cash or product.
If you have ever failed for any form of cheating you cannot participate in the TSTTT tournaments. If
you refuse to take a polygraph test at any TSTTT events you will be disqualified.
- 7. OFF LIMITS: All Texas Super Team Tournament Trail events have a 5 day off limits period which consists of
the Monday - Friday preceding the event. No communication pertaining to fishing is allowed via cell phone,
VHF radio, pager or any other electronic device during the competition.
- 8. PERMISSIBLE WATERS: No fishing within 50 yards of an operating gas pump, within 25 yards of a non
anchored boat without permission or 50 yards of an anchored or tied boat with troll motor up on deck
without permission. Contestant must be able to drive into all fishing areas. Contestant cannot leave boat to
land a fish. 0ff limits will be announced.
- 9. PRACTICE CATCH AND RELEASE: Contestants will be furnished with weigh-in bags at weigh-in site. Every
effort should be made to keep fish in good shape and ready for release. Use our bags only.
- 10. LATE PENALTY: You will be penalized one pound per minute and after 15 minutes late you will be disqualified.
- 11. BOATS AND MOTORS: No engine shall exceed the maximum BIA horsepower rating for the boat on which
it is used. All boats shall meet U.S. Coast Guard and state regulations. All boats must have emergency kill
switch. All boats must have aerated livewells in working order, unless other aerated setups are approved
by director.
- 12. SAFETY: Coast Guard approved life vest must be worn and secured, and the kill switch attached to driver
while main engine is operating. This is suggested at all times and will be enforced on competition days. Cell
phones may be used for emergency or break downs only during tournament hours. They may not be used
for information pertaining to fishing.
- 13. SCORING FISH: A maximum of 5 fish per team or individual will be weighed per tournament. A dead fish
penalty of .25 (one quarter pound) per fish will be deducted from total weight. Only largemouth, Kentucky
spotted, or small mouth bass will be weighed. Any team or individual bringing in more than 5 fish to weighin
will be disqualified. All fish must measure at least 14 inches in length. Short fish - you will lose the short
fish plus a 1 lb. penalty. Pro Rule is the official measuring board.
- 14. CULLING: No team or individual may have more than five fish in their livewell at any one time. You must cull
after you are in possession of the 6th bass. Culling of dead fish is not permitted.
- 15. TIES: A fish off will occur or a flip of a coin (if both parties agree) where boats or prizes are awarded. Cash
will be combined and split equally.
- 16. CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING: Any team or individual who registers for all five events will automatically
qualify with no entry fee for championship tournament. A team can qualify by being in the top 25 of accumulative
points. Both team members must fish from the same boat, during tournament hours. Either
member may fish alone to represent the team. If a change in partner occurs, any established points will be
lost. Only the team member who has registered for all five events may qualify. You may fish as an individual,
if you are 18 or older.
- 17. REGISTRATION: Please Note: The first tournament you enter, you must provide a completed entry form
with signatures. We will keep your entry form on file and you may sign up over the telephone or internet.
There is an annual membership fee of $25.00 per person. You may register early at Tri-Lakes Tackle, Fin &
Feather Resort, or Farmers Insurance - Salamone Agency in Jasper. Late registration will be at launch site
the evening before and morning of the tournament.
- 18. PROTESTS: All protests must be submitted in writing, along with a potentially refundable $100 deposit to
administer a polygraph exam, within 15 minutes of final weigh-in. The decision of the tournament director
and tournament officials will be final. The protestor also agrees to submit to a polygraph exam. If the protest
is upheld, the $100 deposit will be refunded.
- 19. FLIGHT PROCEDURE: All boats will leave from the same weigh site according to their flight numbers. It is
contestant’s responsibility to know his or her flight number, official time and check-in time.
- 20. TRAILER TOURNAMENT: Will be announced if necessary tournament morning at the weigh site starting at
4:30 A.M. Do not trailer unless you know it is official. It is your responsibility to know fishing and check in
times.
- 21. ALL CONTESTANTS MUST CHECK IN AT WEIGH IN SITE BEFORE LEAVING EARLY.
